(More customer reviews)I love high quality brushes and I have tried so many from various drug store and department store brands. Respect my opinion as I spare not cost for quality. I have found that the most expensive brushes are not always the best brushes. I recently saw this brush at a local Sephora store. I was amazed at the softness of this brush and the short bristles and rounded shape seemed to make make it ideal for powder and liqiud foundations. When I tried it with powder It performed alright but did not blow me away. When I tried it with liquid it was a disaster. It was streaky and failed to blend well. I still have not deceided to return it as I recently tried the Sephora Matfifying Foundation Powder that I thought may be comparable to a Mac Studio Fix but it wasn't it was like regular blot powder that I returned. This brush was not as well as some of my Sonia Kushak flat top brush and my Mac 130 which is my all time favorite. I also have a large Bare Esentual brush that I love best for full face powder. So should you add this to your collection. Maybe.. I'm still trying products to use with this brush because right now I am not satisfied.

I didn't really expect this to work, but I couldn't afford the normal expensive loose mineral powder I normally use, so I just picked something randomly to tide me over until I could. I'm never going back! I've only been using this for a week and my face is so clear! I mean, there are still some blemishes, probably mostly acne scars. However, I used to wake up every day with at least one or two new pimples, and now I've had maybe one this whole week. I use it along with Proactiv (which honestly by itself doesn't do very much). Neutrogena scrubs and cleansers never really helped either. However, I think using Proactiv (benzoyl peroxide) along with this mineral powder (which contains salicylic acid) together probably did the job. I'd definitely recommend this product, but if you have acne problems, try combining 2 or more active ingredient acne-fighting chemicals in any form (cleansers, masks, scrubs, toners, concealer, etc) and see if it helps!
Edit: I've been using it for 5 months now, it's not as miraculous as it seemed at first but still significantly better than anything else I've tried. I'm sticking with it!

Caboodles 13" Black Ultimate Organizer Review

(More customer reviews)This excellent case holds all my makeup, and I am so impressed with it, I am considering getting a second case for my backup products and items I don't use on a daily basis. Makeup artists might need a larger case, but for my own daily use, the 13" Caboodles organizer is more than enough, and the price is perfect. The day I ordered this case, I ordered Sephora's train case to see how they compared, fully expecting to prefer the train case. The Sephora case was, indeed, sleeker looking, but at three times the price, it wasn't *that* much nicer. Plus, it wobbled when closed, while the Caboodles organizer sat firm and stable.
The six pull-out trays let me organize my cosmetics by category (lipsticks, gloss, eye liners, concealers and correctors, etc.) and find things quickly. And the bottom holds all my larger bottles and pots or items that are too large for the trays.
I really like that I can keep everything in one place. My makeup vanity is upstairs in a house without central air, and in the summer, it gets very warm up there. I no longer have to worry about things melting or spoiling in the heat because I can leave the case downstairs in the much cooler air and carry it up with me when I need it.
I am taking one star away because the trays do not pull out fluidly, and I suspect I'll have problems with them later, after daily use, but at $32.98, that's a risk I am willing to take.
UPDATE Nov 2010: More than a year later, this case is still holding strong, even the pull-out compartments. I use this case several times a week, every week, and I am so glad I chose this over the Sephora train case. I never purchased a second Caboodles case, but I would definitely not hesitate to do so.

(More customer reviews)I got the Rose Crepe color and it IS PERFECT! This stuff glides on soft and smooth, wears like your fav lip balm. You know how lipstick can feel gooey or cloggy on your lips after awhile. This stiff is not like most lipsticks. My lips feel like they are wearing nothing at all, just smooth and soft. The color really does last for a long time sort of fades away into a nice berry stain so there's none of that awkward half on, half off lipstick look that you might get with most lipsticks. The best lip product I have ever tried. The color is perfect for me too, I think Rose Crepe would look good on most skin tones (I'm Black with lighter skin) since it pretty much matches what most people's lip color looks like anyway, just darker for a "bitten" look.

Bare Escentuals Flawless Face Case Review

It wouldn't of killed them to make it more stylish or less black and weapon like.
If you want this case for your home or travel I would highly recommend it, but if you're thinking of taking it to a party or to dinner, you will probably not have enough room in your purse.

(More customer reviews)I have used several mineral brands in the past, including Bare Minerals, Mary Kay, and others. I picked this one up because I have very fair skin (hence the Classic Ivory) and liked that there was spf 20 in it, while Bare Minerals has only spf 15, and Mary Kay and most others have no spf.
I do not recommend using the included sponge applicator, unless you take the compact with you and need a quick touch up. I would use a professional kabuki-style brush for the application, and use the swirl-buff method. Just get a little powder on the brush and buff it out all over your face. I found that it gave me great coverage and matched my skin-tone well. I also would recommend that you exfoliate and moisturize before putting on this product, but that would go for any type of mineral powder foundation.
Overall, I really like it, and would recommend it to anyone. It's really a great product for the price.

The cap was caked on the inside and there were makeup fingerprints on the outside. The product had been placed in a box so tht maybe I wouldn't notice, but I used to work for a beauty product company and am very careful with any makeup I may use. I preferred Bare Mineral over e.l.f. due to brushes are so cheap and does not do a good job applying the foundation.....the brushes fell apart when trying to apply eye shadow and very brittle brush as well as face brushes. e.l.f got more work to do and get on with brushes. I am passing on my word on this type of product until it gets better and hear positive feedback before buy again.

(More customer reviews)After reading all of these negative reviews regarding the Rev-er Upper, I noticed that many people were expecting this product to be a primer. However, Bare Escentuals sells Prime Time as a primer. If you look at the ingredients listed on the Rev-er Upper, salicylic acid is the 5th product listed...which is also the same ingredient in many acne medicines. This product is designed to exfoliate your skin by drying it out. I have used the Rev-er Upper only twice and my skin started to peel (like it's supposed to). Since I've never had bad acne, I don't really use it unless I am having a breakout and want my skin to dry out. But I can see this being a good product for those with more acne issues. As for the Prime Time, I've never used it...I use Smashbox Photo Finisher and swear by it.

Nice color..can layer as well. I like it because you can dab lips and cheeks and have a nice flushed color and go out the door...it looks natural..does not look like you have makup on. This is a wonderful find. I was also sent the lip scrub and that is wonderful as well.

Premium Quality 34 Piece Makeup Make up Brush Kit Set w/ Case Review

I am in a theatrical make up class on a nearby campus and these will be used for my professional career. I am very satisfied with the quality of the bristles and with the quantity of the set. I have shown several friends and have recommended the brush set to them. If I am looking for a gift to give a make-up "junkie", this is the set.
I was also very satisfied with the timely fashion in which they arrived. I ordered them on a Thursday and the following Wednesday they were delivered to my door, just in time for class on Thursday. At the time I ordered them, I wasa given until the first part of February to expect them...very plesantly surprised when they arrived in less than a week.
