(More customer reviews)After reading all of these negative reviews regarding the Rev-er Upper, I noticed that many people were expecting this product to be a primer. However, Bare Escentuals sells Prime Time as a primer. If you look at the ingredients listed on the Rev-er Upper, salicylic acid is the 5th product listed...which is also the same ingredient in many acne medicines. This product is designed to exfoliate your skin by drying it out. I have used the Rev-er Upper only twice and my skin started to peel (like it's supposed to). Since I've never had bad acne, I don't really use it unless I am having a breakout and want my skin to dry out. But I can see this being a good product for those with more acne issues. As for the Prime Time, I've never used it...I use Smashbox Photo Finisher and swear by it.

A few days after using the primer, I noticed a reduction in blemishes on my face because it acts as a barrier against dirt and oil. It also keeps my face looking fresh all day. I use it with Laura Mercier's Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer and the result is skin to DIE for!

(More customer reviews)I got a sample of this with my order of BareMinerals starter kit, its a sheer soft gel that the skin absorbs right away, its so light and gives a silky feel to the skin, and its not oily at all!
I really like it, I never used a foundation primer before, I just use a sunscreen or any other cream for my face before makeup, you know it works the same EXCEPT that this gel is not oily and doesn't come up to he surface later on the day!
Try to get a sample and see how you feel about it, I like i!

It also gives my makeup staying power...it often looks almost as good at night as it did at the beginning of the day. I highly recommend it, but not from Amazon! I'm really confused at their price of $24.99. I've bought this same product (and the same size bottle) from both Ulta and CVS...for $9.99.

(More customer reviews)I bought the Missha B.B. Cream because of all the good reviews given to this product and how Korean actresses used this product to perfect their skin. I bought it and loved it the first time I tried it. It's almost like a tinted moisturizer, but better. It gives great coverage, especially for those with acne-prone skin like mine, who are looking for a lightweight product, but yet still gives great coverage. The coverage is definitely buildable as I use this as a concealer and foundation. It hasn't made me break out which is a plus. The only thing that's a bit iffy is that it does oxidize a bit throughout the day, meaning that it changes color and can sweat off, but this is no longer a problem for me as I set it with a light dusting of powder. The changing of color is also not big of a problem because I have it in shade #23 which is still a bit too light for me, but it's perfect as the day goes on. Overall, a great B.B. cream to try for the price and definitely will repurchase.
