(More customer reviews)This whole line of products is fabulous. I have been using the veeeeeery expensive mineral make-up product(that I love enough not to use the brand name). But it got so expensive . If you buy the entire line of the other mineral make-up- plus the brushes you have made a considerable investment- it is also very messy with the "swirling and tapping" of the product.
You can get the whole L'Oreal collection of Bare Naturale :i.e. foundation, concealer, blush, finishing veil and eye shadow for well under $70.00 - including the brushes. It is also not as messy as the other product as it is all contained within itself. I am over 45 and have gotten so many complements on my skin .It stays on all day without looking like I applied it with a putty knife. LOVE this line.

(More customer reviews)I have used several mineral brands in the past, including Bare Minerals, Mary Kay, and others. I picked this one up because I have very fair skin (hence the Classic Ivory) and liked that there was spf 20 in it, while Bare Minerals has only spf 15, and Mary Kay and most others have no spf.
I do not recommend using the included sponge applicator, unless you take the compact with you and need a quick touch up. I would use a professional kabuki-style brush for the application, and use the swirl-buff method. Just get a little powder on the brush and buff it out all over your face. I found that it gave me great coverage and matched my skin-tone well. I also would recommend that you exfoliate and moisturize before putting on this product, but that would go for any type of mineral powder foundation.
Overall, I really like it, and would recommend it to anyone. It's really a great product for the price.

(More customer reviews)Just a warning to any buyers of makeup from Beauty Brands. One of the liquid foundations sent to me had been used. The cap was caked on the inside and there were makeup fingerprints on the outside. The product had been placed in a box so tht maybe I wouldn't notice, but I used to work for a beauty product company and am very careful with any makeup I may use. Be careful with makeup sent from this company.

And, best of all, it seems to stay on my skin until I wash it off, and has no drying effect at all. I wear very little makeup -- usually just a little mascara and lipstick -- but this product has become one of my essentials.

It might not stay on as long as liquid eyeliner but it is a softer, blended, more natural look than liquid liner. I do use a different brush to apply it. The one included is within the cap and because of that, it isn't hand friendly.

(More customer reviews)I never thought I'd give up foundation. This product has shortened my make-up routine by turning 2 step foundation + powder into one step only, and it looks very natural. It covers, blends and evens out skin tone perfectly. Put on moisturizer, then wait a bit for it to dry, then apply with a good stiff bristle brush so you don't lose too much product in the brush. Apply concealer over the powder (which is weird, but better to avoid caking). I still use concealer for blemishes and dark under eye circles, but the powder takes care of the rest. Excellent product!!

(More customer reviews)Alright ladies, I say stay away from this crap. I wish the sales woman had told me that a "natural glow" means you'd be putting glitter all over your face. Anytime I would go to kiss my partner, they would have glitter all around their mouth where my skin would meet theirs. I used it for a month just because I spent all that money on it and I feel like it only got worse. If you have dry skin, you especially need to stay away from it. It clung to every single flake on my face and accentuated it X10. Just horrible, and its really too bad because I like what the company stands for.

It was worth every penny! A little goes a long way because it's thick. It smells FANTASTIC; more like a scented lotion than a sunscreen. Once absorbed, you don't even feel like you're wearing sunscreen. AWESOME protection. I would recommend (and have!) this product to anyone who takes skin protection seriously, especially if you're active outdoors.

Covers and looks as good as the others and less $$$! Glad I switched! Medium Tan is a great neutral color.....I'm not pale and not tanning. This color works for me all year long. I do get tan if I choose to, and then I can use a bronzer to add a little more color.

I was never one to have more than 1 or 2 breakouts per month. so I tried changing facial cleanser and that didn't help. I then tried changing makeup from MAC to Glominerals, I must say that I am very impressed. It's worth every penny. The makeup lasts all day, my skin doesn't get oily, my breakouts have stoped, and it makes my skin glow.

(More customer reviews)Jane Iredale is the ultimate in loose mineral makeup. Go ahead and try the cheaper versions from your local drug store. But I recommend you don't waste your money and instead try Jane Iredale. It truly is light, fluffy, not a bit oily or thick/waxy/cakey (like for example Bare Minerals by Loreal.) When I wear Jane Iredale (Warm Silk) I only need to apply it once in the morning, lasts all day and people say "What are you doing, your skin looks so good!"

(More customer reviews)i use this product because it contains no fragrance. my skin is too sensitive to handel scented products. it works well. no scent helps it feel more natural. i would advise using powder first though.
my only complaint is not having a container for the brush, and it may take a few tries to find your shade.
