(More customer reviews)I love high quality brushes and I have tried so many from various drug store and department store brands. Respect my opinion as I spare not cost for quality. I have found that the most expensive brushes are not always the best brushes. I recently saw this brush at a local Sephora store. I was amazed at the softness of this brush and the short bristles and rounded shape seemed to make make it ideal for powder and liqiud foundations. When I tried it with powder It performed alright but did not blow me away. When I tried it with liquid it was a disaster. It was streaky and failed to blend well. I still have not deceided to return it as I recently tried the Sephora Matfifying Foundation Powder that I thought may be comparable to a Mac Studio Fix but it wasn't it was like regular blot powder that I returned. This brush was not as well as some of my Sonia Kushak flat top brush and my Mac 130 which is my all time favorite. I also have a large Bare Esentual brush that I love best for full face powder. So should you add this to your collection. Maybe.. I'm still trying products to use with this brush because right now I am not satisfied.

Italian Badger Kabuki Brush Review

(More customer reviews)The shipping from this vendor is quick. In terms of quality, you get what you pay for. It is a dense brush and feels comfortable in the hand. Initially it felt a little too rough for my face but after washing it felt better. I am hoping that with use, it will become smoother.

(More customer reviews)So after some review, I decided to try these because they were less expensive and I was not certain hw they would alter my skin tone (I am African American).
I will start with the pink which I use under my eyes. I have never had problems with bags but some days I do get some dark circles. Well the pink is the best for this issue. My eyes are instantly brighter, even w/o foundation, this is a great "picker upper" for the eyes.
The green is also good for my dark marks (I pick at bumps) so I will normally have a spot or two. The green is great when used AFTER the foundation. I blend it to take away some of the darkness.
Overall, not certain if more expensive product will work better but I love this product. It is smooth and easy to apply and blend and the price is awesome.

Sigma Beauty Round Top Synthetic Kabuki - F82 Review

(More customer reviews)I just got this brush in yesterday and couldn't wait to try it out.
I was blown away by how awesomely awesome this is. Not only did my foundation go on smoothly and flawlessly, but it also cut down my application time as well. When i use a common(name brand even)foundation brush I'm left looking streaky and even sort of cakey. With a normal brush I'd usually have to take a damp cloth and moisten my face to get rid of the streaks. With this brush I totally cut that process out. I'd say with a normal foundation brush it'd take me about 3 minutes to apply my foundation, with this brush it took me well under 2 minutes, and thats a huge difference when you're in a rush, or sometimes dread the over drawn process of it all. After I applied my foundation (mac studio sculpt which is a gel based product), I even noticed that when I cleaned the brush hardly any product came off, as compared to my foundation brush which tons of product would come off. I also used a mineral powder foundation with it, but felt it was too much coverage. SO really, all you need is a good liquid foundation, and maybe a light setting powder and your good too go. With my regular foundation brush I definitely needed extra powder coverage. I think this brush is best used with liquid, and that what i'll be using it for mostly, but considering I've only had it for less than 24 hours, I still have a lot of playing around to do.
I think $16 is a very well worth it for this brush. I'm hoping to soon get the flat top kabuki brush to use with powders.
