Ahava Cleansing Cream, 3.4oz Review

Ahava Cleansing Cream, 3.4oz

I tried this product when I went to marshalls and found it in the skin care section. I have sensitive oily blemish prone skin, and have literally tried everything on the drug store shelf. My dermatologist put me on Epiduo, and my skin became extremely dehydrated. I had to find the best of both worlds (pimple free & moist) so I started using this cleanser. It is great to use before you go to bed. After I used this cleanser I felt like my skin was adequately hydrated, so I needed to use very little skin cream after. I compared it to two other cleansers that I have previously used. I took cotton circles to wipe my face to see what came off, and ahava was the winner. Its almost like cetaphil, but it works allot better. I'd recommend it to people with all skin types, and conditions. The only thing is that I would not pay retail for this product. Do your homework, and find yourself a good deal. I have seen it as cheep as 10.99 in some stores.

AHAVA 3-In-1 Mineral Toning Cleanser, 8.5-Ounce Bottle Review

AHAVA 3-In-1 Mineral Toning Cleanser, 8.5-Ounce Bottle
Average Reviews:

I am using AHVA 3-in-1 Mineral Toning Cleanser for several months; I have very sensitive skin; so far I never had any problems; my skin feel clean and I always finish with AHAVA Night Nourishment cream. Even by morning my skin still feel soft, so I use cleanser again and then use AHAVA Day moisturiser. I highly recommend to use AHAVA line. It's a little bit pricy to buy on Amazon because of the shipping charges. I bought a lot of AHAVA creams at Bed, Beth and Beyond (check the top shelf) and use their 20% discount coupons. Do yourself a favor and try it, you will not be disapponted.

I got this (along with the moisturizer and the after-shave) for my boyfriend's birthday. He loves it! He keeps his at my place so he can use it when he's over here and he told me how much he loves the way it feels. If he likes it, then I would definitely recommend it for any other guy.

AHAVA Dermud Soothing Body Milk Body Gels And Creams Review

AHAVA Dermud Soothing Body Milk Body Gels And Creams
Average Reviews:

Until I tried it, I shied away from Ahava Dermud products. Dermud sounded unappealing. But this cream is even richer, and more soothing than the Ahava products for normal skin, and I'm particularly fond of this body milk. It's a thirst quenching, vitamin and mineral enriched drink for the skin. Wonderful stuff.

Ahava Dermud Gentle Soothing Facial Cleanser, 4.2oz Review

Ahava Dermud Gentle Soothing Facial Cleanser, 4.2oz
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have some seriously cranky skin, and have been that way for years. I've tried so many different products that I've lost count. This is my favorite hands down. I've spent double and upwards on a good cleanser and none have been as good, or simple. Little to no odor and a silky, slightly oily feel. If you're used to a soapy, frothy facial cleanser, then this will not be the product for you. That being said, when I get out of the shower, my face does not feel like the Sahara Desert, nor do I feel like I'm left with an oil slick. I've been using this now for about 3-4 months-which is how long my tube has lasted. Unlike many products where my skin would be great for a few weeks then suddenly stage a coup on said new product, my face is happy, and so am I.

Mineral Hand Cream - Ahava - Hand Care - 100ml/3.4oz Review

Mineral Hand Cream - Ahava - Hand Care - 100ml/3.4oz
Average Reviews:

Originally, this item was priced at over $20. That was way too steep. At the current price from an Amazon marketplace provider, with shipping, it's still a little pricey. This is excellent cream, however.
You can get a whole travel pack of 3 ounce travel size Ahava jars, with a see through container, here and another travel size here.
When they are available, you can also get larger sizes of Ahava 8.5oz or 24 oz. body cream or 5.1 oz. foot cream for very reasonable rates.
I love Ahava products, although I always try to buy them economically.

Ahava Limited Edition, Triple Size Body Lotion with Pump, 24oz Review

Ahava Limited Edition, Triple Size Body Lotion with Pump, 24oz
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I love Ahava body lotion, although the price often seems a little higher than I'd prefer.
But this limited edition 24 ounce jar cost me considerably less than the usual sizes, which made my day. It was still available last week, and I hope Amazon stocks more, soon.
[Update, Dec. 19, 2010: The only problem now is that Amazon no longer sells this product directly, so the shipping is no longer free. Bummer!]
[Update, Feb. 18, 2011: Regarding false comments of a political nature, please note: Ahava has done and is doing nothing illegal under international law, or otherwise, regarding its production facilities, regardless of the opinions of pro-Hamas folks. Obviously a campaign is afoot --- having nothing to do with Ahava's products or their quality --- to delegitimize Israel through boycotts like this.
Here are the facts, both historically and according to established international law. There is no final settlement in the disputed territories. The Palestinian contingent has repeatedly rejected at least five final settlements offered by Israel and its predecessors since the 1920s. The last formal proposal came in 2000 although several more attempts since have been made to arrive at final terms between the disputing parties.
Alas, current Palestinian Authority leaders are just as hard line as Hamas. They do not recognize Israel's right to statehood at all, and regularly so state in official media of every kind. A rhetorical question: How should Israel negotiate with people who openly envision another genocide? I have no answer, and those who boycott Ahava clearly do not either.
Historically, the last internationally recognized High Contracting Party in the disputed territories --- now known as the "west bank," as in "west bank of the Jordan River" --- was the League of Nations. In 1922, the League established a Mandate for Palestine, entrusting its administration to the British government, which withdrew in 1948. The world's nations voted on this Mandate after World War I, (and Arabian royals in the Hijaz agreed), just as they voted on Mandates for Iraq, Syria, The Lebanon and so on. This land was intended as part of a national home for the Jewish people. The plan established by High Contracting Parties, and therefore international law, remained in force until Britain unilaterally and illegally established Trans-Jordan to appease the Sharif Feisal of Mecca, whose offspring unsuccessfully attempted to rule where originally assigned. The Palestine Mandate to establish a national home for the Jewish people included what is now generally called the "west bank." In 1948, after the United Nations recognized Israel as a state, Jordan rejected the settlement offered at that time, attacked the nascent Israel and illegally seized that land against dictates of international law. Jordan illegally controlled the land until 1967.
Jordan then bombed Jerusalem --- despite repeated peaceful Israeli attempts through diplomatic intermediaries to persuade Jordan not to do so. Israel counter-attacked --- a perfectly legal measure under international law for any established, recognized nation that is attacked.
Israel won the land in self-defense, and has repeatedly attempted to reach a final settlement with those people who claim it. Alas, any final settlement between the parties to the dispute must include an agreement to peace between them --- something the Palestinian Authority refuses to do, as this would require recognizing Israel, which it openly states it never will.
Therefore, under international law, Israel's presence in the disputed territories remains legal. Israel stole nothing from Palestinian Arabs. If their leaders choose to reject a final peace settlement, it's a shame. But international law requires that they do so for there to be any final settlement at all, much less a valid one.]

I have lived in Israel for 10 years and can buy this product at most of the big pharmacies for 30-40% discount for 100 NIS or $25.00 maximum. I don't think anyone who lives here would pay the inflated price that Amazon and other internet companies charge. Like I said, this is an excellent product for the $25.00 I pay in israel.

AHAVA Pure Silk Multi-Vitamin Dry Oil ( Mandarin - Cedarwood) Bath Oils Review

AHAVA Pure Silk Multi-Vitamin Dry Oil ( Mandarin - Cedarwood) Bath Oils
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I can no longer reach all the way down my back to put on body oil or lotion after a shower. I have used Neutrogena dry body oil for years, and I really like the ease with which it is absorbed and the fact that it is fragrance-free, but it's messy because it pours from the bottle.
This spray goes on just as nicely as the Neutrogena, and although it has a lovely soft fragrance, I find that if I shower at night and spray this on, the fragrance has faded by morning and it does not clash with my daytime perfume.
I can spray it lightly on my back, and I do not have to rub it in.
Recommended.

Ahava Mud Exfoliator, 3.4 oz Review

Ahava Mud Exfoliator, 3.4 oz

I absolutely love this Mud! I was a skeptic, however, I found this @ a local discount store. Wow is all I can say! Although it tingles a bit when you first apply it, it does not burn your skin. I believe it's the salt water that causes the tingling. Also, it is recommended that you ONLY leave it on your face for 2 minutes, and ONLY use it 1-2x a week. Any more frequent than that, and I believe it may dry your skin out. One last word, I purchased this product for a mere $12.99, but will be buying more from Amazon once my local retailer runs out. Buy it!
