(More customer reviews)I love high quality brushes and I have tried so many from various drug store and department store brands. Respect my opinion as I spare not cost for quality. I have found that the most expensive brushes are not always the best brushes. I recently saw this brush at a local Sephora store. I was amazed at the softness of this brush and the short bristles and rounded shape seemed to make make it ideal for powder and liqiud foundations. When I tried it with powder It performed alright but did not blow me away. When I tried it with liquid it was a disaster. It was streaky and failed to blend well. I still have not deceided to return it as I recently tried the Sephora Matfifying Foundation Powder that I thought may be comparable to a Mac Studio Fix but it wasn't it was like regular blot powder that I returned. This brush was not as well as some of my Sonia Kushak flat top brush and my Mac 130 which is my all time favorite. I also have a large Bare Esentual brush that I love best for full face powder. So should you add this to your collection. Maybe.. I'm still trying products to use with this brush because right now I am not satisfied.

(More customer reviews)Like many people, I had a secret hope that this product would somehow work miracles. Well, once I rid myself of those magical thoughts, I became a fan of this makeup for what it is: a foundation that feels light like a powder and doesn't look like stage makeup when applied.
Here's my summary:
1. It DOES look like makeup once it's applied, but it covers well without a caked-on look.
2. Some reviewers have said that it stays on after exercising. I have not had this experience. For me, it tends to wear off after about 6-8 hours -- more quickly if I'm especially active.
3. Like other reviewers, it took me about a week to get the application right. I used too much in the beginning.
4. If you're trying this makeup for the first time, I recommend getting the Starter Kit. The brushes are very important . . . and fun.

I didn't really expect this to work, but I couldn't afford the normal expensive loose mineral powder I normally use, so I just picked something randomly to tide me over until I could. I'm never going back! I've only been using this for a week and my face is so clear! I mean, there are still some blemishes, probably mostly acne scars. However, I used to wake up every day with at least one or two new pimples, and now I've had maybe one this whole week. I use it along with Proactiv (which honestly by itself doesn't do very much). Neutrogena scrubs and cleansers never really helped either. However, I think using Proactiv (benzoyl peroxide) along with this mineral powder (which contains salicylic acid) together probably did the job. I'd definitely recommend this product, but if you have acne problems, try combining 2 or more active ingredient acne-fighting chemicals in any form (cleansers, masks, scrubs, toners, concealer, etc) and see if it helps!
Edit: I've been using it for 5 months now, it's not as miraculous as it seemed at first but still significantly better than anything else I've tried. I'm sticking with it!

(More customer reviews)I got the Rose Crepe color and it IS PERFECT! This stuff glides on soft and smooth, wears like your fav lip balm. You know how lipstick can feel gooey or cloggy on your lips after awhile. This stiff is not like most lipsticks. My lips feel like they are wearing nothing at all, just smooth and soft. The color really does last for a long time sort of fades away into a nice berry stain so there's none of that awkward half on, half off lipstick look that you might get with most lipsticks. The best lip product I have ever tried. The color is perfect for me too, I think Rose Crepe would look good on most skin tones (I'm Black with lighter skin) since it pretty much matches what most people's lip color looks like anyway, just darker for a "bitten" look.

Bare Escentuals Flawless Face Case Review

(More customer reviews)I have been using bare minerals for a while now and I finally bought this case. I must say that it doesn't spill at all and the brush is very cute and mini, but the case is huge! Is like a brick.
It wouldn't of killed them to make it more stylish or less black and weapon like.
If you want this case for your home or travel I would highly recommend it, but if you're thinking of taking it to a party or to dinner, you will probably not have enough room in your purse.

I preferred Bare Mineral over e.l.f. due to brushes are so cheap and does not do a good job applying the foundation.....the brushes fell apart when trying to apply eye shadow and very brittle brush as well as face brushes. e.l.f got more work to do and get on with brushes. I am passing on my word on this type of product until it gets better and hear positive feedback before buy again.

(More customer reviews)After reading all of these negative reviews regarding the Rev-er Upper, I noticed that many people were expecting this product to be a primer. However, Bare Escentuals sells Prime Time as a primer. If you look at the ingredients listed on the Rev-er Upper, salicylic acid is the 5th product listed...which is also the same ingredient in many acne medicines. This product is designed to exfoliate your skin by drying it out. I have used the Rev-er Upper only twice and my skin started to peel (like it's supposed to). Since I've never had bad acne, I don't really use it unless I am having a breakout and want my skin to dry out. But I can see this being a good product for those with more acne issues. As for the Prime Time, I've never used it...I use Smashbox Photo Finisher and swear by it.

It is superior in blendability and is almost essential when using the Bare Escentual products. ESCAPE is the color you want if you need a sun kissed look. It reminds me of escaping to the beach and coming home with a rozy glow. The color is powdery rose and makes cheeks look radiant. You will look especially healthy in this makeup and your natural radiance will be enhanced.
