(More customer reviews)Usually, exfoliating products just scrape dead skin off, but this product gently removes it without leaving your skin red and irritated. I like that it's a gel and it's easy to apply, and contrary to some other reviews, you don't need to use a lot. You just apply a very thin layer and rub until your exfoliated skin comes off in little balls. I'm really impressed with this product - it's great for people with oily skin and blackhead problems. I know this sounds like a canned endorsement, but I'm just a regular 30-something gal with troublesome skin.

(More customer reviews)To me, this is not the best thing there is out there, this is the ONLY thing theres is out there that controls my acne. I'm a guy, and I have rough skin. I've had a pizza face since Jr High and I have used countless prodcuts that produced little to no results. I've even tried the famous Proactive and it was not good enough (not even close). This my friends, WORKED. I mean it literally controls 100% of my acne! I only have to use it once a week (not daily) and you can even SEE the dead skin come off your face, WOW! In just 2 weeks (2 applications!) my acne was totally gone, UNBELIEVABLE! To think that I got lured in by a pesky sale woman at the mall to try it, thank you sales woman, I'm glad I didn't ignore you and walk past by you like so many people do. I told my wife about this product and she fell in love with it. My wife is extrememly picky about skin care products, she has probably tried twice as many as I had, and now all those other products are in the garbage, nothing else compares! Try this product, you WILL love it!!!!!

It's not as harsh as the microdermabrasion/chemical peel I use from Olay, but it's good for maintenance between those sessions. It wouldn't be good for immediate drastic results, but it still feels and smells nice. I like it.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this item on a whim, as I've heard from lots of other people...more like high pressured sales, in the middle of the mall, after repeated "no's" and the price being reduced tremendously, I decided, so what...try it, your not spending your mortgage on it, if it works...great, if not....toss it. So I used it at home with results that appeared to be fantastic, and in defense of the product, my face did feel softer, however, after closer examination of the so called "dead skin" I investigated further and realized that it wasn't skin at all, it was a rubbery type material that I assume is produced with the circular rubbing motion of the product. I would compare it to removing glue off of something and it balls up....So fair warning, check the "exfoliation coming from your face" I can bet you too will find that it is NOT DEAD SKIN afterall! Further, after using the produce three or more times, it appears that my skin not only still remained in tact after use, the skin remaining didn't like the product at all and had an adverse reaction by creating a bumpy rash on my forehead and cheeks....Also, check your prices you can pick up all the items from this brand on ebay for drug store pricing...

Tru Solutions:Complete Glycolic Acid 30% Chemical Facial Peel Kit (professional set) Review

(More customer reviews)I compared this to many other bottles of Glycolic acid 30%, and this kit comes with a full bottle of the glycoic acid, plus a glycolic cleanser, glycolic toner, glycolic face cream and a fan in a nice zipper pouch. All this for the price of a bottle of 30% glycolic acid from other companies.
You can smell and feel the glycolic acid in the cleanser, the toner, and face cream. This really benefits the skin, preparing it for the peel and for care in between peels. I had the typical patches of dead skin a day or two after the peel, the cleanser, toner, and lotion helped speed the shedding and increased the benefits.
I have very pale skin, and felt starting with 30% was as strong as I could handle. Sure enough it stings as soon as you start brushing on the actual glycolic acid it self. Sitting by a small fan really helped. I used my cell phone timer, and was more than ready to rinse at 1 minute. I had a bowl of baking soda and water next to me which neutralizes the acid and stops the peel. The directions say it will sting more when you apply the baking soda and water, and they were spot on. (I dipped the brush in the baking soda/water solution and it fizzed!)
Then I just laid a cool wet cloth on my face after wiping off the acid on my face, neck, and hands. While moist I applied the face cream. No redness the next day. It's been a week, and just finished my 2nd peel. I see a difference. Fading a few darker freckles I wanted removed, more even skin tone, smaller pores and fresh looking skin. I can't wait to see the improvement at week 6.
There seems to be enough to do at least 6 hand and face treatments, maybe as many as 10-12. This is so much more effective than the spa peels I've done. I like being in control, and the whole kit cost less than 1 facial/peel at a spa or doctors office. It's VERY important you follow the directions, and have the baking soda water ready (the kit doesn't include baking soda, it's only 1.50 at the market).
I will absolutely buy this package again. I think I will give this as a nice holiday gift to my friends and ladies at work.
