It doesn't appear to be dark however once you apply it, it is a very rich-like pink. I love wearing this color for work during the day and going out at night!

(More customer reviews)I got this item , and was very disappointed the jar is small and the brush is too big to fit the jar without making a mess. Definitely not worth the price of $20 that I paid for it when just a few days later they reduced the price to $17.50. You would think someone would have decided that a bigger sifter jar would serve a much better purpose than a jar that you cannot even remove the excess mineral from the brush without losing the makeup outside of the jar. I give a thumbs down on the smallness of the jar. I only gave a 2 overall because the brush was ok, and bristles did not fall out, that you get with cheap makeup brushes.

Pur Minerals Mineral Melt 4 fl oz. Review

(More customer reviews)I have used this product for about two months, and really like using it. I have tried several cleansing oils: DHC, Aloette, Dermalogica and this one works well for me. What I like about it is (1) the price (2) it is not drying after rinsing the skin (I found DHC to be drying) (3) it does not sting my eyes (Dermalogica's pre-clease really irriated my eyes) and (4) it does not break out my slightly oily skin.
The Aloette oil is ok. It is thinner than the Pur Minerals and does not seem to rinse as well. My skin does not feel drying after rinsing off the Pur Minerals - just moisturized - although I follow up with Eucerin's gentle hydrating cleanser.
There are so many cleansing oils on the market; hope this is helpful.
