(More customer reviews)I had originally purchased this product, comes in 17oz size,( and based on the photo asking for my review, it also comes larger-mine appears half the size of the tall canister). I love it! For months after I ran out, I kept the container around, so I could sniff the scent. I have never really been into either the scent of Grapefruit ( like the fruit actually), or Juniper, but there is "something" about it in this product that just 'feels good'. Finally, I couldn't stand it, more stress happened and I just bought two more canisters (They are plastic, the new containers ones are "PETE 1" for those into the recycling thing. Old ones were these the white plastic jobs, HDPE 2).
I am dealing with a LOT of emotional issues. Today, when I sniff it, I feel a sense of relaxation and, quite honestly, a little teary - the emotional release. Usually, I use this product after having a long (emotional) day. Once, I had started the day, feeling fragile and stressed. Suddenly, it hit me, I HAD TO HAVE A BATH. I took a nice warm/hot bath (I'm not THAT into the HOT bath thing, my skin is rather sensitive; I'm Asian) with the Cellular Detox Bath. Within minutes of getting into the bath, I could feel the "relief" just take ahold of me. I felt better, but not all the way better than time, I waited a couple more minutes, and then made the decision to pour more into the bath - the instruction on the container tell you to "Pour desired amount into the running bath water. Swirl to dissolve. Relax in bath for 20-30 minutes. Safe for spas and hot tubs". They totally leave it up to you on how much. So, I poured a little more in, letting "instinct" or"mood" be my guide, swirled and viola! THAT DID IT. That overwhelmed emotional "on edge" feeling was totally gone. I usually shower off after that. I left it on once, it itched that time, and my skin felt dry, so now I always wash off. As I said previously, I have sensitive skin. Never any problem with hives or anything like that with this product. IT IS TOTALLY ORGANIC (for over 30 years). What else to say? There is No Bubbles created with this. There is olive oil and essential oils, so there is a little residue on the sides of the tub. I rub them off with my hand. Oh, and today, I will probably mix the Detox and the Stress to see if that does anything.
Now there is another product the Abra people sell that is called "Stress Therapy Bath", which I have also, the effect doesn't even compare for me. The scent for that one is Lavender & Chamomile, both of which I normally really like. In this product, sniffing doesn't really do anything for me. My nose doesn't really smell either scent easily, however, today at least, I do feel a little more relaxed after sniffing it.
